*City Council and Development & Planning Committee Agendas are available prior to the meetings. Minutes are available following approval.

When are meetings held?

Council Meetings are held the second and fourth Monday of each month. The meeting begins at 2:30 p.m. for legislative and administrative matters and reconvenes at 7:00 p.m. for items requiring public input. A full list of meetings can be found on the City website.

How can I attend a Council Meeting?

Meetings are held virtually and in-person in the Council Chambers at City Hall 500 - 2 Avenue NE.

What if I don’t have a computer but want to attend virtually?

You can attend a Council Meeting by telephone.

What if I come in-person and the meeting has reached capacity?

If the Council meeting has reached capacity staff will provide instructions on how to virtually participate.

What virtual meeting platform does the City use?

The City uses GoTo Meetings or use the GoTo app.

Can I join virtually after the meeting has started?

Yes. Participants can join and leave at any time during the meeting.

Can I speak during the meeting if I attend virtually?

There are opportunities for public input during the question and answer period and in the evening public hearings.  We ask that all participants keep their microphone muted at all times unless addressed by the chair to avoid feedback issues.
