Speculation and Vacancy Tax
The Speculation and Vacancy Tax is a provincial initiative. City of Salmon Arm residential property owners will need to declare for the first time in 2025. Tax Certificate Requests
Please email tax certificate requests to accountsreceivable@salmonarm.ca. The tax certificate (including utility and tax information) will be sent according to the instructions provided in your request. A $50.00 fee applies for all manual requests (per the Fee for Services Bylaw No. 2498).
Electronic Tax Certificate Requests ($20.00 fee) can be made through our Online Services. To register, please contact accountsreceivable@salmonarm.ca for an application form.
Changing your mailing address
To update your mailing address, you must notify both BC Assessment and the Land Title and Survey Authority (LTSA).
BC Assessment
BC Assessment manages the address database used by the City of Salmon Arm. Address updates are provided to the City on a weekly basis.

Updates made with BC Assessment are typically reflected in the City's system within 7–10 days.
Land Title and Survey Authority (LTSA)
The Land Title and Survey Authority holds the legal records for your property. It is important to keep your mailing address up to date to ensure you receive all future correspondence.
