Through this Request for Proposals (RFP), the City of Salmon Arm (“City”) is inviting proposals for the update and
expansion of the City’s comprehensive Parks and Recreation Master Plan (PRMP). The City is seeking a consultant who will
collaborate with City staff and stakeholders to update and expand the Parks and Recreation Masterplan for presentation
and approval by City Council. This plan will serve as a strategic framework to enhance recreational opportunities,
protect natural spaces, and support the well-being of our community. Through extensive public engagement, data analysis,
and innovative planning, the selected consultant will help shape a sustainable vision for our parks, trails, and
recreational facilities. The final plan will provide actionable recommendations that balance growth, accessibility,
environmental stewardship, and fiscal responsibility, ensuring that our parks and programs continue to serve residents
for years to come.
