City of Salmon Arm Child Care Planning Committee invites residents to share ideas for the future of child care services in Salmon Arm.
Salmon Arm, BC - The Government of British Columbia has identified a child care space shortage in British Columbia. To better understand the impact this is having on families in Salmon Arm, the City of Salmon Arm and the Child Care Planning Committee have created a survey. Residents of Salmon Arm are invited to provide their input from September 9-30, 2019.
The results of the survey will remain anonymous and will be communicated to the provincial government with the intention that provincial childcare planning will consider the community of Salmon Arm’s needs.
“This survey is an opportunity to understand the specific ways in which our residents have been impacted by the provincial child care shortage. Ultimately, it will help us communicate our community’s needs more effectively with the provincial government.” stated Mayor Alan Harrison, in support of the initiative.
The survey takes approximately eight minutes to complete and is open to all residents of Salmon Arm. It will close on Monday September 30, 2019. Links to the survey will be posted on the City of Salmon Arm’s Twitter and Facebook accounts.
