CLIMATE RESILIENCY PLAN STEERING COMMITTEE (CRP-SC)
Join the team! The City of Salmon Arm is seeking three (3) Citizens at Large including one youth representative and one senior representative who are knowledgeably engaged with climate resiliency in Salmon Arm.
The CRP-SC is a team of community members and experts who will provide City staff with guidance and strategic direction in the development of the Climate Resiliency Plan (CRP) and support its implementation in the community. The CRP-SC will provide strategic guidance by:
- Ensuring that the CRP is aligned with the City’s overall strategic goals and activities;
- Encouraging integrated organizational, stakeholder and community-wide collaboration and cooperation to deliver the CRP;
- Grounding outcomes of technical evaluations of Hazard, Risk and Vulnerability Assessment (HRVA) and mitigation and adaptation measures in local Environmental, Social, and Economic realities; and
- Recommending actions to growing the capacity of the community to implement the CRP.
Term: Duration of the project (anticipated March to October, 2025) that will include participation in approximately four (4) workshops and reviewing draft documentation. Additional meetings (virtual attendance is an option) may be scheduled as required.

Council will review and appoint Citizens at Large at a Regular Council meeting.
