West Bay Connector Trail: Round 1 Engagement Complete
The City of Salmon Arm is happy to announce that the first round of engagement for the West Bay Connector Trail is complete, and the "What We Learned Report" is now available. This report captures the insights, visions, and knowledge shared to guide the planning and preliminary design of this 6.5 km trail connecting the Salmon Arm Wharf through Neskonlith and Adams Lake Communities to Pierres Point Road.
Project Highlights
- Trail Length: Approximately 6.5 km for walking, cycling, and rolling.
- Scenic Route: Connects the Salmon Arm Wharf boardwalk through Neskonlith and Adams Lake Communities to Pierres Point Road (50 Ave NW).
- Community Engagement: Incorporates cultural knowledge and understanding through meaningful collaboration.
- Environmental & Archeological Assessments: Protects local ecology and heritage as part of the planning process.
