Lease Agreement for Lots 8 and 9, Plan KAP57618 (641 and 621 Ross Street NE)
1,361 Elector Responses were required to legally preclude Council from entering into the lease agreement, unless approved by the assent of the electors (referendum). The City’s Corporate Officer has certified that valid Elector Responses requesting Council not to enter into the lease agreement were received from 1,275 electors by the 4:00 p.m. January 10, 2014 deadline. The Elector Responses received do not meet the minimum sufficiency requirements. Council is proceeding with executing the lease agreement.
